Throughout my time at this Hearing Aid Startup, I was able to focus on community growth.

  • Expanded digital community by growing LinkedIn following from 1,000 to 7,600 while maintaining steady growth on Facebook, Instagram, and X.

  • Increased email list by 900 subscribers and built an engaged waitlist from 0 to 250 in four months through organic social media and paid ads, achieving the team goal of a 2% conversion rate.

  • Generated 1,500 new leads in less than one month via Facebook Ads at a $5.67 CPL—well below the $57 industry benchmark—by developing high-performing content and targeting strategies.

  • Developed a strong, person-first content strategy to foster community engagement and demonstrate the positive impact of hearing aids.

  • Strategically created audiences through Facebook Ads and increased link CTR from 2.5% to 5.7% over six months by testing audiences, content, and budgets.

Children’s Book

Wrote, illustrated, published, and distributed a children's book called Smile With Your Eyes, selling hundreds of copies.

  • Empowered children to wear masks to help stop the spread of COVID-19, featuring characters who wear masks at their jobs (e.g., welder, dentist, nail technician) or for cultural reasons (e.g., niqab).

  • Aimed to show children that mask-wearing is normal and emphasized protecting oneself and others.

  • Book purchased by teachers, therapy offices, nurses, community leaders, and parents seeking hope during the pandemic.

  • Formed partnerships with the Mayo Clinic and East Hill Medical, which purchased wholesale orders.

  • Featured on local news by a reporter met at a blood drive, who encouraged me to "call him if I do something cool."
